Everything you need to know about using 3D Status to monitor your Bambu Lab printers.

Getting Started

Welcome to 3D Status! Follow these steps to start monitoring your Bambu Lab printers:

  1. Create an account and verify your email
  2. Create an organization for your printer farm
  3. Add your first printer using its IP address, serial number, and access code
  4. Watch your printer status update in real-time!

Printer Connection

To connect your Bambu Lab printer, you'll need:

  • IP Address: Found in your printer's network settings or your router's connected devices list
  • Serial Number: Located on the printer's label or in the device info menu
  • Access Code: Found in Bambu Studio under Device → Network → Access Code

Note: Your printer must be on the same network or accessible via the internet with proper port forwarding configured.

Notifications

3D Status supports multiple notification channels:

  • Email: Receive updates directly to your inbox
  • Discord: Get notifications in your Discord server via webhooks
  • Telegram: Real-time alerts to your Telegram account
  • Slack: Integrate with your team's Slack workspace
  • SMS: Critical alerts via text message
  • Webhooks: Custom integrations for advanced workflows

Team Management

Collaborate with your team using role-based permissions:

  • Owner: Full access including billing and organization deletion
  • Admin: Manage printers, members, and settings
  • Member: View printers and receive notifications
  • Viewer: Read-only access to printer status

Security

We take security seriously:

  • All printer credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256
  • Connections use TLS 1.3 encryption
  • Two-factor authentication available for all accounts
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
